Milty Pro Zerostat 3 Antistatic Gun Review

Milty Pro Zerostat 3 Antistatic Gun for Vinyl LPs and Records

The Milty Pro Zerostat 3 is a simple hand held (gun-like) antistatic device. You can use the Milty Pro Zerostat 3 to reduce and eliminate any static charge on vinyl records and LPs that has built-up as a result of normal playback. I think it is important to remove the built-up static charge after playback so that the record does not attract dirt and dust. This will keep the record cleaner which can help with unwanted noise. Using the Milty Pro Zerostat 3 is very simple; just point the nozzle a few inches (50-75 mm) away from the vinyl record while slowly squeezing the trigger and then gently releasing the trigger. The operation should be silent and if you hear any "clicks" you have pulled trigger too swiftly. The short 10 second video below shows how quick and simple the Milty Pro Zerostat 3 is to use.

The Milty Pro Zerostat 3 Antistatic Gun works to eliminate the built up static charge on a vinyl record with a simple 2 cycle operation. By squeezing the trigger of the Zerostat 3 a steady stream of positive ions are produced. As you slowly release trigger negative ions are produced.

The Zerostat 3 is very effective at eliminating the static charge on a LP. This should improve playback and help keep the record cleaner for longer. If you live in a dry environment and have static issues with your records, the Milty antistatic gun will help.
