Open Baffle Speakers - Rear

This shot shows the OBs before two layers of darcon were stapled to the rear leaving only the woofer rears exposed. The particle board is 18mm the woofers 10", mids 2" domes and titanium tweeters. The Xover is a 2nd order. I replaced the HF caps with metal film polypropylene varieties from electrolytics. Heavy metal brackets join the base board and baffle broad. The boxes recline slightly so the speakers will stand up without other assistance.

Listing is pleasant with voice bright and bass OK but not deep. The woofers are new and very stiff so bass response may follow many hours of playing. See other image.
