This guitar amp comprises of one $1000 radio transmitter valve which runs on 700Volts. The driver cct. is on the left and is a multi-stage transistor unit. The OPT on the right was wound by the owner using a primary/secondary interlace config. and then vacuum impregnated. A fan is required at the base of the valve to stop the ceramic socket over-heating. Very loud!
