'63 Fender Reverb Clone
|
Here is a photo of the last project I built. It is a rear view with the cover removed. It is a modernized clone of a '63 Fender Reverb. I changed a few things like using modern grounding and layout methods I went with larger filter caps a full wave bridge rectifier. I think I used a slightly nicer spring suspension system to "fly" the pan in it's shock isolation mounting. The input jack is grounded to the chassis but the other jacks are isolated. There are two transformers and one choke, all are made in USA with paper insulation. The enclosure is Maple. The sound is very true to the vintage Fender. It goes from very subtle to full-on spring/twang.
