Any ideas what make /type/ wattage of resistor this is?

In the pic attached is a resistor its about 30mm long X about 5mm wide 7K 1% it reminds me of high voltage type but does anyone have any ideas.
It was laying about in my spares box probably from some old parts from industry.
Someone may recognise it maybe?

Regards
M. Gregg

Yes I thought that might be what it is, its just the 1% accuracy and spiralling like you see on metal film resistors made me wonder if it could be something else. Unfortunately there is no makers logo.
Thanks for your post.

Hi, yup, looks like an old school wirewound. You find them in vintage gear. Often green in color though. Usually trouble free. It occurs to me that I have seen some new 1% and 2% resistors in the format you have. Vishay perhaps in sizes like 7-12 watts.

Good listening
Bruce
