How do you guys store your vacuum tubes ? Do you have any kind of display or any practical way of storing them so they are easy to find and/or look good ?

I have bought a nos lot on ebay and realized that I will need to store them somewhere. I have something like 150-200 tubes, ranging in size from the smallest 7 pins to the big tung sol 6550s. Tubes without boxes are kind of a pain in the ass to store...

Hi, Generic boxes are available from a number of sources. Since I use lots of tubes I always have the boxes. Two things on NOS tubes that I have found to be important. Don't let them bang around as it seems to kill some and be careful with the labeling on them. Nothing worse that what could be a valuable tube that you can't read what it is. For ones that are nearly gone I put a masking tape label on the base. Even if it lease a residue after years, it can be cleaned pretty easily and you know what the tube is. I have heard that folks use grease pencils to make tubes as well. It tends to rub off though.

Good listening

Personally I like little plastic storage boxes like the one shown here.

I have about a dozen of these boxes with various tubes in them.

I will say I've never really found a satisfactory solution for the big tubes. I have about a dozen 807s that I finally just rolled in bubble wrap and stuck in a small box.

Is not the professional one with a flap in the middle of box to prevent tubes from moving. But better than nothing
