Post subject:  Practical and Simple Low Resistance Measurement

If you ever have had the need to make accurate low resistance (< 10 ohm) measurements, you likely know that your typical multimeter is not very accuate. Here is the method I use: Simple Low Resistance Measurement.

I hope some of you find it useful.

UPDATE - Added 4-Wire (Kelvin) Resistance Measurement - Video Tutorial to the Simple Low Resistance Measurement test jig page.

Post subject:  Dummy Speaker Load Box

Matt shares with us his build of a fantastic looking dummy speaker load box. The dummy speaker load box is reconfigurable to 2-ohm, 4-ohms, 6-ohm, 8-ohm, 16-ohm and 32-ohm loads. TMC050 wire wound power resistors from Vishay mounted to heatsinks to increase power dissipation are used for the load. The speaker load box is simple to build and will look great on the workbench.

This project supersedes Gio's very simple DIY Speaker Dummy Load for Amplifier Testing built from salvaged parts.
