I have prepared a new and improved version.
How it differs from the Japanese detector:
1. Filter of the second IF with a monotonic frequency response instead of a resonant one
2. IF frequency is reduced, optimal for a delay line of 20 elements.
3. Applied digital pulse amplifier (improves sound)
4.The XOR scheme of the MC74AC86N type is applied (improves the sound)

Work is underway to improve the detector, so a new XOR scheme with a speed of 4 ns has been found and planned, will be installed in the socket instead of the previous 12 ns. This should improve the signal to noise ratio.
This is not a set.

The other day I replaced the comparator with 7ns AD 8611 and am surprised at what happened. Everything has changed, SNR has grown, the sound has changed, it is difficult to describe in translation, it is better to hear it. Antenna wire

Hi!

It would be nice, because I also have the ST-SA3ES to try and evaluate.

Cheers!
