I have both the K2 and K3 Garrott carts. after coming of MC carts I’m back to MMs. Love MM carts and especially the Garrotts. Between K1 to K3 only the stylus changes. The K3 is a Shibata profile.

But today I installed a new Garrott P77i. This cart. supposedly combines, MM, MC and moving iron. Regardless it sounds excellent. It has a long way to go but after the the third LP it just started to open up. Bass and mids are much better and just more music in the music.
