hi all first post. i am playing with the dml idea at the moment. i have 4 dayton 20 watt exciters and had an idea. not sure if it has been tried. the exciters are 4 0hm a 20 watt and i have 2 of them in series at the moment for each speaker i thought of wiring each one to a separate channel of an amp and feeding one channel of stereo to both channels. i have 2 lepai amps and intend to make them active with one amp for each speaker. any one see any objections to doing this.
why you may ask.? because you can't bridge the output of these amps. but i don't see any problem bridging the inputs. that will give me 40 watts per speaker.
