Hey folks, first post (introduction will be my next post lol)
Id like to build an entire system and have spent quite a while scouring the interwebs. Irs not been that easy to find complete projects i like.

Can you throw some recommendations my way for scratch built pre-amp and amp projects for about 25 watts a channel that include a pcb layout aswell if possible with some reasons for the recommendation. Through hole and basically SMD are fine as is having to etch the pcb if non are available to buy.

Id prefer class D or AB amps if possible.
Interested to see what's thrown in for ideas as most everything i was interested in like the silicon chip studio series pre-amp and the elektor 2012 pre-amp arent rated very well by you guys lol

Thanks in advance.

Hi, Use any of the "chip" amps. I like the LM3886T version as it is trouble free, there are lots of circuits for it, they are cheap, and the T version is insulated from the tab so you can mount it on nearly anything.

Good listening
