I More recently I'm only using fine wire-wrap wire. This is high quality fine copper wire with a silver plating. At all times I stay away from any form stranded wire. Even when wiring power amps and preamps I only use twisted wire-warp wire.

Mark,

Is this the wire you are using? http://www.mouser.com/ds/2/14/1805%20GR005-212239.pdf
If not how about a link for reference.

That seems to be right, the link you sent. Is that wire silver plated?

Could the procedure described in http://www.diyaudioprojects.com/Power/DIY-Shielded-RCA-Interconnect-Cables/
be used to make a stereo jack - 2 RCA male cable of 5m long of the following components:

Hi Guys, I on the other hand only use stranded wire for interconnects. Belden 8412 for interconnects with Switchcraft gold/nickel terminations. I got put on to these via some really serious Japanese Audiophiles. Internal connections with Mogami 2333. The later is nice to work with as it is small diameter and spiral copper shielded. The 8412 is instrument wire and with its cloth/fiber liner can be difficult to use, but IMO worth it. I'm sure the solid wires work fine, but so do these and I am extremely picky on sound (and low noise).

Good listening
Bruce
