Some of those tracks gave the little woofers in my headphones a workout. Can’t wait to put them on main system. some of the darker music reminiscent of Fear Innoculum by Tool my son recommended and i quite like. Sounds like the new Tame Impala album is going to be good based on these teaser tracks. Still listening to Currents which has a few good tracks and videos

I'm so excited for the the new album that I pre-ordered it! https://shoptameimpala.com/products/the ... 9463355494
I never pre-order stuff, but other than King Gizzard, Tame Impala gets the most play on my system so I figure it's a safe bet that I'll enjoy it.

One for the ages, 50 tracks celebrating 50 years of King Crimson. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... nniversary. I like all the various lineups, but check out songs including John Wetton on bass in the early 70s. It unearthly. There's an interesting rendition of 21st century schizoid man, a hybrid of the early lineup and current lineup.

Anyone ever hear of Icelandic band Lucy in Blue? I hadn't heard of them until a couple days ago, but they've got a great vibe. Some Pink Floyd influence here I'd say https://youtu.be/4I0qOVDJ8WA

Just listening to them over lunch through my just constructed fullrange speakers. Only got a few hours on them and still to paint. Lucy in blue sounding pretty good. Thoughtfully composed from what I've heard so far.

Cool looking speakers. What are they?

Been trying my hand at an enclosure for a full range speaker. Started off thinking about a bass reflex but morphed into a small labrynth as inspired by the Stinger Baby Lab by scottmoose and planet10 at diyaudio.com. Still some work to do. Will use this with the 300b amp which seems to drive these speakers easier than the 2 way b & w 706 behind I've had for a few years. Bass rolls off earlier than the 706s as expected but is enough for most music I listen too. The speakers and my ears are still adjusting as expected they are brighter in the midrange but not overly so. Would be good to get some measurements.
