That is looking great. What are you using for the stain and clear coat?
Cheers

Hi, well I use this brand called "herdins" but I believe it`s a scandinavian brandname. Unsure what brand they have in the rest of the world, but as long as you grind the wood properly it should come out decent!
Damn I pray to god the amp will fit in the cab!! :P I took meashurments from LOOKING at a pic of the amp chassis! :?
The speaker cab is alright, I`ll get started with it in one week! Then it`s holiday!!

Today I started with some details on the speaker cab

This is going to be the input jack plate on the rear of the cab.. with a simple "hobby"-stamp kit the result came out pretty nostalgic!

50s anyone??

I believe the ink is waterproof, and might not last as long, so I left it on the power tranny on the dusty Yaqin to dry :P
I'm going to cover the plate with car paint- clear!

And yeah, the front speaker plate is not that solid so i added a little bord to make it more solid.. I`m going to put several boards in the box and make is solid as rock!

this is going to improve the sound.. Trying to make the wood as tight as it was one piece not 6 pieces glued together..

Stay tuned!

Have a look :D looks more like a piece of furniture than a amp :P I've decided the faceplate is going to be gold with black writing!
