Yes, but you ccs have much more impedance, than resistor. For examle, if you use resistor in cathode follower, so we talk about 20K, maybe 100K maximum, but on other side, with CCS you can count on 500K, or higher.

It's more like a BIG choke that has almost zero DC resistance ;)
