I'M DONE!!!!!

.... almost ....

The darn amp is making other noises than just the music. I have swapped the connections to secondary of the transformer, hoping the problems had to do with wrong phasing of the FB-signal.
The potentiometer was wired incorrectly but now I have full volume independent of setting, and it's growling and murmuring and ... growling again.

Should I possible add a cap between potentiometer and input (to the grids of 6SL7)??

Well it looks like this right now.

All tubes are Russian made, hence the title.
And I will look into the problems tomorrow if I cannot think of any other solution:
1) Fiddle until the problem is solved.
2) Take things apart and rebuild until working.
3) Hide the project for a year or so and start building something else (or in my case finishing any other project),

I was looking for any refrences to this project on the web but couldn't find much. A guy on wanted some feed back on this one and got some not so helpful replies like "don't waste time and money on a such an inferior design". That's not a decent way to put things. Any other project that inclused 300B or 6S33S (6C33C) is hoisted to the sky by the bystanders, whereas simple and cheap projects are ditched.
Unfair, said Bill.
Precicely, answered Bull.
(I tell you about Pelle the cat w/o a tail and the bad cats that bullied him sometime in the future).
