Post subject:  B9a Pin straighteners

This is for anyone that has never seen a B9a Pin Protectors/straightener.

I have used them since forever but it just occurred to me others may not have seen them.

They look like this:

If you ever have a tube with bent pins, you just carefully bend them as close to straight as possible and push one of these on the tube.
It saves breaking sockets and cracked glass bases.

A bit of trivia that might be of use.. :D
I use one before first fit of any tube to ensure the spacing is correct.

I used to carry one (and a B7) in my pocket :D

It'd be all blue from the cue chalk I'd also carry, LOL!

My big tube tester (Hickok 539B) has a set with it, together with socket-savers. All good.
