Total amplifier weight (with tubes): 23.6 pounds (10.7 kg)

I bet the Silver Dragon weighs more. ;)

My Russian monoblocks (6x6L6) are 17 kg each.
May time to start building my GU-72 monoblocks. They may come out heavy too.
Now that I see tjis one, I realize that I could use my Hammond 1627 for this kind of amp with that tube.

Matt,
Another great looking amp and one I am itching to build.

Note on the signal schematic. The signal schematic attached to the write up on your website shows a 470 and one as 470K resistor. This schematic shows both 470K.

Anymore comments on "the Beast" after living with it for awhile?

Thanks

You are correct. The schematic on my website contains an error. The grid resistor on signal stage two is 470kΩ and not 470Ω.

Sorry about that.
