Figured I would post up my version of the Lacewood V2. I used a chassis and a pair of Hammond 1628SEA transformers I had sitting around from another project that never got built. The enclosure is maple, which I ended up painting instead of finishing and staining because I got impatient...
Not the best wiring job to say the least, but it did turn out hum-free, even without shielding the power supply.

It's currently being fed by a "Bourbon Box" 4S preamp and pushing a pair of Mark Audio full range drivers.
I'm really happy with the setup. It sounds fantastic, even with the oversized output transformers.

Big thanks to Suncalc for sharing this design!

Unusual chassis design, looks really good. Color scheme works well too.

Not sure why you'd say that. I think it's a awesome wiring job!

I also like the chassis design with the angles and different levels. And the handles on the sides are a nice touch. Overall, very cool. Good job!

Thank you for the compliments. A friend used to have a 1950's Ford that was a similar color, so that is kind of where I was going with the enclosure.

At around 12 pounds per Watt, those handles come in handy!
