Hello community,
I am a devoted theremin player and I'm completely inexperienced in diy projects. My current instrument is a moog etherwave +, with cv out capacities. I am going to build a diamond speaker (passive), with a jensen 12" drive, a project that should be easy enough even for myself. I would like to power this speaker, ideally, with a tube amp. The amp should have at least one out to for the speaker (which is my monitor) and if possible, another out to feed a mixing board/pa system in live situations. Ideally, this amp would also feature an integrated spring reverb. I'm looking into diy kits, or hacks of old amps, or any other solution. I'm aiming, of course, for class A quality the cheapest possible. Some thereminist friends are using an old amp: BOGEN-DB10. It seems it's terrific, but they are scarce and, when they pop out, they are usually expensive. I'm wondering if something similar could be build on the cheap. And I'm asking for advice for dummies here (since most of the posts I've been reading seem like Chinese for a newbie). Thank you kindly, PegamÃn
