Yes Sir, Just to document my projects.

I use syringe with Chloroform to bond acrylic.

My project is somehow not related to the thread.
Can I post it here?

Start a new thread - it will interest many more than if you hide it in another thread!

OT for nicinico: About chloroform, is it easy to obtain "odd" chemicals in the Philippines? In Sweden, everything that can be used to build a bomb, cook up some funny pills or simply hurt people is suddenly out of reach for us amateurs. Sulphur acid is forbidden stuff and I guess hydrochloric acid as well as hydrogen peroxide is next on the list making production of PCBs at home impossible.

nicinico, that is a cool build!

Dang, Magnus, how do you DIYer's over there do any projects with out access to basic etchants. Do you have access to ferric chloride (common PCB etchant)?

Ferric chloride, copper chloride (a great etchant), hydrochloric acid and hydrogen peroxide are still available. The latter two are used to boost the ferric chloride but in the past I have been using them solely as they rapidly removes all traces of copper.

I belong to a forum of people involved in all kinds of electronics and mecatronics and I get it that very many order their PCBs from overseas (China).

I'm not paying any amount of money to have someone else do something I can do for pennies. There are a number of companies that will do custom etching, none that will do it for just pennies, let alone the shipping costs.

I have no idea. See if the specs are close.

Pinouts are same.
Plate voltage, however, may be an issue. The 1AD4 has a 100V plate where as the 6418 is specifically designed for low voltage (15V - 22V). The curves seem to indicate it is possible. I don't think your going to hurt anything to try it.

I am building another one of these amps. I am going to put it into a case and I want a volume control on the case. What pots are you using? I cannot seem to locate a decent 1M stereo pot anywhere. Thanks for the help.
