Any news as to when this might be coming? This post put the release in about September, but I don't see it on their site. I am definitely interested.

Try asking them directly. :)

I would, but I guess they don't answer emails. ;)

I vaguely remember having some problems communicating with them when I ordered this kit and another. It was a couple years ago though.

To true. It has been too long to make the announcement then not deliver. I'll send an email to the owner of Oatley and find out.

Sweet! Don't tell them I was talking smack. 8-)

Hey, we should all be so lucky to have a bunch of people dying to know when our next thing is coming out so they can give us money. :P

I understand the new K272 is complete and I am soon to receive a prototype. In the new few days I will speak with the owner of Oatley and gets some more info. on what is happening.

Not only is the new K272 ready to be launched as a kit I have an early prototype. Oatley has gone back to the single 9V battery for both filament and B+ supply but at least now the filaments have been given their own resistors and bypass caps. In the next few weeks I hope to have the cct. brd. in an enclosure and take a listen. Take a look at the small cct. brd. and the schematic.
