They 'tend to ring more in metal boxes compared to plastic.

hey guys
i have a problem i orderd a K272A with 2 spare tubes
i p[ayed for it
but i didnt get an ordernumber
and if i email them they wont awnser my emails (or i get an automatic response)

who can help me?

So I added a power supply to mine, a bypass switch, on/off switch, redid the audio wiring AND didn't make it look hideous in the process! I never thought leftover components from my last (failed) valve project would actually be useful. :p

Interesting. Where did you get the idea of putting audio gear in cardboard boxes?????? Why is the PCB black or is it just the light?

Are you still offering the kits with the upgraded parts? If so, do you have a bit of a summary of what's upgraded?

I'm on my second one of these and I've tweaked the gain loop around the opamp some... More on that as I refine it....

I didn't have anything else. It's sturdy enough to not break if I use it, it's not just plain card, but I have had to move it away from my pc to avoid digital noises. Also it doesn't look too terrible~ :p
