Hi Everyone. I sure at one time or another each of us has seemingly bit off more than we expected in the building of something. I ordered a few SS oscilloscope kits which indicated that soldering was needed. Yes I would expect that from the sales pitch. What I didn't figure on was that about 1/2 the components were SMD. I usually avoid such parts as they are more tedious to attach and there are more possibilities for screwing up. I do have the equipment to do SMDs, but it sure would have been nice to know in advance. I might have paid a bit more and got them assembled. (not as much fun, but then not as much aggravation). I'll let you know how they turn out. I wanted to use them in some projects on the bench.
