Hi, i hope, im in the right forum.

sorry for bad english, im from EU.

I saw some guy put android tablet in a car.
I was ispired by video from youtube

And i come here for some advice. Tablet is like 24/7 in that car.

My question is how to connect that tablet on car power suppy? So it wont drain battery when car is off, and again when car is on, to charge it?

Can u please advice, if this is possible:

12v car wire connect to some kind of external power bank. this power bank would be charged every time car is on. (that 12V wire would be)
then the tablet would be connected to that power bank at all times getting the power when the battery is off.

IS this even possible, or i can trow away this idea completly?
Anyone have another idea how this can be done?

Thx in advance.

Most tablets, including mine, has a USB connector on the charger cord that will connect into any other USB device.
USB chargers are available that plug into the standard car power-points (it is politically incorrect to write "cigarette lighter" these days).
A tablet has a relatively tiny draw in any case, and almost nothing when quiescent.

Keep it simple. Use a conventional USB-type car charger and you will be fine.
