Hi Everyone, I just got one of these for Christmas. A really amazing thing. It resembles a watchband but is much more. (Google it for details). I pretty much follow how technology is changing and am reasonably current on developments, but this thing has surprised me. Yes it does tell time and is rechargeable (runs about 5-7 days on a 30 minute charge). The other things really are cool. It measures how many steps you take, but is not confused by being in a vehicle for the distance covered. It was able to tell that I climbed a short step ladder and said I went up one flight of stairs. It recognized at one point I was vigorously exercising as well and tallied the minutes. All this is in a very small package on your wrist. It automatically syncs with my PC and phone ( a Galaxy S3) and will buzz on my arm if the phone rings nearby. Like I said I'm not sure how it is able to so accurately distinguish the activities but it really is cool.

I also got an Arduino prototyping you know what sort of things I may be developing in the next few months.

Have a great new year everyone

Good listening
