Hi, I just got a new PC monitor. A Dell Ultrasharp. It is really amazing how far down the hill the old one was. Now, better color, brighter, sharper and so on. Nearly like upgrading a phono cartridge. You didn't realize how much of an improvement you could get by changing just one thing.

This has been the season of replacements. Over a period of 6 months I had to replace one PC entirely (my spouse's), my main PC motherboard, CPU, memory and eventually hard drive, a power supply, the wireless router and now the monitor. It seems like there is a built in obsolescence factor.

Good listening
Bruce

Sounds great!

I thought I had bright colours on my uber-advanced LCD monitor... then my wife's smartphone and its OLED display made me feel like my monitor was a B&W CRT :bawling:
