Hi Horst and welcome to the forum.

I've been looking at your website and find your double horn designs to be very interesting. Have you found any inexpensive drivers that would work well as a rear driver for a Fostex FE206E based horn?

Cheers

The Visaton BG20 is not very common in North America, so most of the money saved on the driver is spent on shipping from a vendor that does not carry Fostex speakers.

However, is this a suitable driver for bass reinforcement of an FE206E? Efficiency to 600Hz is only 90dB. The FE206E is ~96dB.

look the list here:
(Visaton B200) only for satellites
Seas Exotic F8
Fostex FE 206 E
Audio Nirvana 8"
Sica LP 208.38 1100 ( THIS one is the cheapest)
Ciare HX 201
div. Lowther
Sonido 8"
Lyeco LY805F

Again, the Pioneer B20FU20-51FW 8" Full Range Driver is only 90dB. Is that going to work as a rear driver? The nice thing about the Pioneer driver is that it is locally available.

Do you have measurements for the Trumpet-Sat? How much bass do you get out of that design?
