Everybody who can get to Dallas for the weekend of May 14-16 should join us for this show. The majority of exhibitors are either DIY'ers or non-mainstream manufacturers. This show was created for small, budget-constrained manufacturers and sellers of audio equipment. There's no fee for exhibitors or visitors (other than the $99/nite room price if you exhibit at the show). It's small and low-key, and you can spend quality time in each room auditioning the equipment and discussing it with the manufacturer.

Go to the link below and take a look at the exhibitor list. Notice the variety of products including OB's (GR Research), SET's (Audio Mirror), Full Range Single Drivers (Brines Acoustics), Class D (D-Sonic), Class T (Virtue Audio), Classic Speakers (Classic Audio Loudspeakers), and the list goes on. Where else can you audition all these non-mainstream manufacturers' products in one place? Only at the LSAF

Looks like a good show with a lot of DIY content. Lets us know how it turns out and about the interesting and new gear.
Cheers

I should have followed up on this sooner, but here's the bottom line: If you're into diy and non-mainsteram audio gear the 2010 LSAF in Dallas Texas was the place to be. I'm sorry to say nobody did a complete review of all the rooms, but there are pictures at this link:

It's important to mention the LSAF doesn't try to be like other shows. It was conceived by Wayne Parham of Pi Speakers as a place where non-mainstream manufacturers could exhibit their gear inexpensively. He started by negotiating a $99 room rate, and that's for a two-room suite, so you don't have to move beds and furniture to set up. The LSAF is free to exhibitors and visitors, and you'll notice many of the exhibitors aren't manufacturers or manufacturers' reps, but DIY geeks like me who just enjoy showing their gear.

Next year's LSAF is scheduled for May 13-15.
