How does it sound? I will not speculate on something I have not heard other than to confess a certain level of skepticism on toroids - But that is based on exceedingly limited experiences (two items), neither of which used them in the output stages. So, it gets down to the basic question: How does it sound?

Hi, Ditto on how it sounds. No reason a toroid ought to bebetter or worse than a conventional transformer as long as it is used within specs. Nice case though.

Good listening
Bruce

I've worked on a couple and built one ... the key is keeping any and all DC out of the windings, then they can sound fabulous.

Cheers!
