Hi Gio and Mark, that is usually the case. The DAC doesn't have to interpolate data bits, just multiply them in integer amounts. I believe that there is a link on the audioroundtable or vinylengine forum that goes into considerable detail on this subject. If I can find it I post it here. The process would seem simple, but the implementation is not.
