First images is my 6AS7 SET driving my Fostex FE206e backloaded horns, with BoZ and BDP-83SE Blue Ray player.
Second image is a TT made from a Byer (I think) LP cutter, huge platter (stone) with Pro-ject 12" carbon fibre arm and some motor off another TT.
Third image is a Luxman 36 OTL tube amp with just four driver tubes
Forth image is a club members 48ohm 6 driver tower specially built for the Luxy. Tear drop shapped and looked a $1,000,000.

My 3W SET stoll the show regardless what anyone else says - haha! And it filled the room with beautiful music jammed with 100 members. In the first image, amp to the right, is a club members F5 demonstrated on the night.

No its a two way system all woofer/mids are joined in series. They are 5 inches and go down to 40hz with phase plugs. I'll try to get the make and model. Also three ports on the rear.

Ah I see.
Did you experience any comb-filtering effects that results in a change in soundstage when you move ?
Can comment on the how well the speakers imaged etc ?

Very interesting speakers.

I still remember how your horns sound. Very rich lower midrange and timbre. Excellent midbass.

Hey Mark, looks like a good time. What is that small speaker on the bottom left of the photo?
Cheers

No apparent combe effect and soundstage was very good. I think this due to the narrow baffle board.

The speaker in the bottom left has been thrown together to remember a fallen DIYer. Lewis was a legenary speaker and amp builder around here who died this year. From some drivers and parts that remained another club member built these boxes. On the rear there is a big square passive radiator which is clear. We are yet to hear them play.
