Hi everyone, once in a while I run into some product that does a better job at something than anything I had before. I needed to wind some crossover coils and had no easy and accurate way to measure them. All the meters I had gave inconsistent results. The one below works super.

It is easy to use, auto ranging and accurate. When I measured known resistors, capacitors and inductors it always gave the right answer. As accurate as the rating of the component. With 0.1% resistors it was exact. Hard to believe for an inexpensive test device. I wish I had one a long time ago, but then they were more costly then. Certainly worth a look for any of you who need to measure or match components.

Good listening
Bruce

It's always good when you find a tool like this that's affordable yet works well. So often you never know until you try.

Thanks Bruce for letting us know about this one.

Personally I have a BK 875B that I use. But at about 1/4 the price of the BK, this one is well worth a look. Especially for anyone on a budget (hmmm... it there anyone who isn't?).

I've been looking at LRC meters. So many to choose from and a wide range of prices. To get first hand info from someone who has been in electronics and audio for a good number of years is priceless. Thank you Bruce. They are not available to Canadian buyers but there is always a way.
