We have added a couple of new speaker projects to the site. Adam has put together a center channel and a 10 inch subwoofer to match and compliment his 3 way tower loudspeakers. The speaker projects use drivers from HiVi Research. Also, the tower loudspeaker project has been updated to include measurements.

See the project pages for full details:

To see the changes on the main pages, you may have to "Refresh" the website.

I forgot to mention this earlier. Back in July, Daniel (in Canada) sent us some pictures of his build of the 1.618 - 3-Way Hi-Vi Tower Speaker Project.

Sorry, this project went up almost a month ago and I forgot to mention it here. It is a pair of bookshelf speakers by Mark Houston using the Fostex FE167E fullrange drivers.

For more information, see the project page: Fostex FE167E Bass Reflex Speakers.

Discussion and questions about this project are welcome in the Fostex FE167E DIY Bookshelf Bass Reflex Speakers thread.

We just added Radoslav's fantastic and unique granite speakers to the project site. The loudspeaker project uses the Seas G17REX/P woofer with the Seas 27 TFFC tweeter and a second order crossover dividing network at 2.5kHz.

For full details about this project, see Radoslav's article: DIY Seas Granite Speakers.

The Fostex FE167E Bass Reflex Speaker project has been updated with near field frequency response measurements. The measurements are taken with and without a Baffle Step Correction Circuit.

See the project page: Fostex FE167E Bass Reflex Speakers for full details.
