Post subject:  Site Anouncements / Site Updates

Over the weekend I had noticed that Steve Bench's website had been removed by AOL. For the time being, I have setup a mirror of his site: http://diyaudioprojects.com/mirror/memb ... sbench101/
The mirror is from early 2007, so I do not know if it is the most current copy. I have checked the links and they all seem to work. I have sent an email to Steve to make sure that he is ok with the mirror.

Post subject:  SSL Certificate

We have activated a SSL Certificate for diyAudioProjects.com.

SSL Certificates are small data files that digitally bind a cryptographic key to an organization’s details. When installed on a web server, it activates the padlock and the https protocol and allows secure connections from a web server to a browser. Typically, SSL is used to secure credit card transactions, data transfer and logins, and more recently is becoming the norm when securing browsing of social media sites.

To use encrypted web sessions with the site, navigate by using the prefix https instead of http. https://diyaudioprojects.com/Forum/
