Here is a song to make you think,

I remember listening to it as a child.
Every time I hear it I stop and ask what is going on, why am I here..
Noel Harrison-The Windmills Of Your Mind
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qj2diB6fcpg

It was used in the Thomas crown affair:

Classical: Antonin Dvorak, "Symphony No. 9 'From the New World' ", Allegro con fuoco

Rhythm & Blues: Stevie Ray Vaughan, "Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)", Cut 4 from "Couldn't Stand The Weather"

It's an eclectic night in front of the glowing triodes.

and If it's not Baroque, don't fix it: Telemann, "Trumpet Concerto #1 - Allegro", Niklas Eklund; Nils-Erik Sparf: Drottningholm Baroque Ensemble, from "The Art Of The Baroque Trumpet, Vol. 1"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDExwCoGzy4
I remember talking to a bass player his guitar had no frets, I said whats that? he said "Man if you need frets your just playing at it!"

Then another great song, Southern Freeze by Freeze
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byDRYI86cck

From the Disco Era I loved the disco era.. :D
The gigs were everywhere and you could go out have a great time and still go to work the next day.
Jack in the box

I find with most music its a link that triggers past memories, Zap and I'm back there just for a few moments.
That reminds me when this song was out it was the time of river boat shuffles, a group of people would hire a boat with a disco on it and go up and down the local river. We just got drunk and tried not to fall over board :D

M. Gregg

Strange. I have always known them as the English Beat. Turns out that is their North American name.

I didn't know they had another name, I always knew them as " The Beat".
I just love the driving bass lines.

Hazel O'Connor - Eighth Day

This song came into my mind a few years ago when someone I know was told not to smile or laugh when on a production line.
The reason was they were not thinking about their work.
Reminds me of Metropolis:

I found this weird but also interesting many years ago: but Rocky Horror never rocked my boat.
Lene Lovich - Lucky Number
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGoEmhQP774

Here is another strange song always reminds me of the Wicker man
Safety Dance - Men Without Hats
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AjPau5QYtYs

A digression for anyone who has never been inflicted...be warned these tunes stick in your mind like Einstein a GO GO.
