Hi there. I have recently acquired a Audio Selector Panel out of a Boeing 767 aircraft. I am wanting to strip the guts out of this and make it into a multi band working radio say from 80mhz to 136mhz range. I would like it to have a digital frequency display and also if possible a couple of channels of memory that can be changed by use of several push switches. However I have no idea where to start with building this. I'm a begginer to the whole radio game. I was hoping someone would have some advice for me or some circuit diagrams for a multi band receiver. That has some memory buttons.

I have not much idea about RF stuff either, there should be allot of resources online, have a look and search up.
Try to do things step by step, learn absolute basics most simple stuff, build something and get exprience, don't just jump steps cause you'll fail and you don't learn much or anything from it.
