I learned something new today! :D

I had made large audio dummy loads from toaster elements paralleled.

Hmmmm, RF into that... wouldn't that turn it into a HF Induction range? HI HI! ;)

Hi OM Gregg,

Me too - I hadn't thought of dummy loads for audio amps.

I was at a distance of 2m from the dummy load when I tested the 1kW transmitter!

Hi OM Gregg,

I'm very sorry I'm answering your question a year late on account of oversight!

I'm not too sure about the induction as there was no vessal on the hot plate. But the coil was at full glow and it appears that conduction was predominant.
