I'm working on a speaker project and I'm looking for a method to screw the drivers to the cabinet in a way which will allow for removal and reinstallation in case the driver will malfunction. I drilled the holes in the mdf for the screws, but once I'll fit in the driver, how will I be able to reuse them? Won't they hold only for one use? I'm building the Finalists.

It seems to be a well cared project. Well written and explained, I wonder how these speakers sound.

These speakers have to sound amazing connected to a medium power amplifier, because oh their low sensitivity I would not use them on a tube project.

As for the screws, I see no problem to do/undo them a couple of times.

Have fun! :)

Hi You might be able to use "T" nuts or something like them see Parts Express part # 081-1070 (T-Nuts) and 081-1080 (hurricane nuts)

Good listening
Bruce
