the power chord only has two wires, i assume a live and a neutral. This connects to the two wires on the transformer.
coming out of the wire are a group of two red wires, and another group of 3, 2 green and one yellow. The yellow is soldered to the same path as all the other grounds as far as i can tell from the schematic. with uk 3 pin plugs the 3rd is the earth so i assume all the grounds go to this? what is the case for 22 pin us plugs?

Its the K-12 amp if that helps.

My bad Paul, I assumed you were using a three pronged plug. I would still add the shielding as you may later want to go to a three prong plug if noise is an issue. Feel free to start a build thread and posts photos if you need help.
