Thanks, Greg

Anyone wanting to get their name in just in case someone drops out, please do so. The order in which requests are made is the determining factor. This same notification is posted on Head-Fi.

The list below shows, in order, the requests I received for the pcbs.

#1. booangler
#2. Gio
#3. Endspec
#4. Dan
#5. mwhouston
#6. Uncle Erik- Head-Fi
#7. mkapadia
#8. booangler
#9. pistolsnipe- Head-Fi
#10. Dusty Chalk- Head-Fi

Cheers, Greg

So, what tube types (not the brand of tube) are people planning on using with the UniAmp?

Probably el34s at first as i got a quad of them but forgot the brand, than latter some kt88s when money permits, on the drivers i got some jam mils and silvainias, on the rectifiers i got rca and ges i think.
If you can run the 6l6s could it run 6550s you think?

The link above provides a hint of what these amps can look like as a pair of monoblocks. Click on the "elettroniche" DIY link on the left, and then scroll down and on the right you'll see UniAmp. Click on that and you'll see a nice looking monoblock kit that is available for 800 Euros, which is over $1000 USD.

There also is a parts list to look over.

mwhouston,

You're #5 on my list. All I need is for you to PM to me your mailing info. I'll then get back to you on the total cost and you can Paypal me the $$$. Since you're down under I'm sure there will be a higher shipping fee than those here in the states. From your experience, if you have some suggestion as to the cheapest SAFE shipping method that you prefer, let me know.

This really wasn't a group buy in the sense that I campaigned ahead of time for participants. I simply had a small batch of boards made and then offered them in a "not for profit sale" There's a chance I may do it again if there are enough DIYers who missed out.

Would this be the place to express interest? I'd be interested in a spare pair when...I mean in case I screw something up.
