I recently have acquired a Sansui AU 20000 integrated amp along with a Sansui TU 9900 stereo receiver. Built around 1977, I'm guessing. Everything seems to work fine. I purchased it from the original owner the other day for $175 (U.S.D.) for the pair. I haven't been able to find any vintage Sansui speakers for it at a reasonable price. So I've been using a pair of 1980's Fisher STV cabs. It sounds pretty amazing, I can't really find anything wrong with it. Any ideas whether I should keep this sys. or pursue something else ?

The tuner and the integrated amp are about as good as it gets. I'd say they are keepers!

They redesigned the integrated amp a year or two later, called it Diamond Digital Super Feed Forward I believe. The older gear is certainly more desirable, sounded better. It's pretty simple, you seem to like it, so I'd use it!
