If you live within driving distance of Houston and have been wondering about high sensitivity speakers, single driver speakers, and/or open back speakers, this is an opportunity to give yourself a Christmas present and satisfy your curiosity for the amazingly low price of $386, which is the price of the drivers alone. :present:

The speakers include Dayton Audio 8" full range drivers, with H-frame Eminence 15" Alpha 15A's handling the bass. Each Eminence driver has a dedicated Audiosource subwoofer plate amp. The asking price includes the two plate amps. Sorry, these are too big and klunky to ship, so they are for pickup only at my house in Houston, Texas. They will fit in the back seat of a mid size car like my Nissan Altima. See this post for pictures and information: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=4363

Hi Fred, You mean you don't want to play Santa and drive a batch of reindeer all over the country delivering them? :) All aside, they are good speakers and if I didn't have Martin Logan ESLs I would be tempted.

Good listening
Bruce

No, even though I do believe in Santa, I'm uncomfortable with the idea of reindeer-powered flying sleigh. These speakers are easily be driven by my PoddWatt, and they sound especially good with the PoddWatt's larger cousins, the KT88 OddBlocks.
