Hi guys

I've just notized that ASUS has a new board out called 'tinker board' which should be a strong competitor to RPI 3. At least when it comes to specs.

Price is 55 USD which sounds much, but think about it. If you as i did needed a RPI + Hifiberry Digi with s/pdif, price will be more than 65 USD. Oh yes the new tinker board has 192k/24 bit s/pdif output, among other stuff, with better specs than RPI. I know what my choice is ...well enogh chit chat from me, check the listed links below.

What a great board. Pretty much double everything of the Pi3, RAM and CPU speed. GbE is a big plus. I like that you can also connect an external wifi antenna. Note however it does not have s/pdif out. Instead it has space to add a connector (contact port), the space looks tight, but I imagine they checked it out. Too bad it just doesn't come with a connector already installed.
