Hi Ross,

The injector is used to troubleshoot a defective audio amplifier.

On pressing the push button an audio tone is output through the prod.

The green wire is connected to the common of the amplifier and the prod is applied to the input of preceding stages starting from that of the output stage.

The stage from which there is no output is the defective one.
