Hello Members,
i made something new, a doppel horn for 6,5" driver FR and FR or bassmid driver invers and +- changed without HT peaks., in my case i use the SICA 6,5" FR
Superb soundstage, unbeliefable impedance, every tube amp will love it, i need no extra HT, wall near livingroom measurement.
i call it DH-SAT-XL, measurements shows full fullrange possibility, the sub likes it must work only up to ~60 Hz, the DH-BASSEL
any opinion?

I wonder what that would look like on the top end with a phase plug instead?

the measurement shows, may be a tweeter is useful or a small notch between 0,5-4 kHz, but
it is a near wall measurement so the mic was ~1,6 m away so you get much wall reflexion of the back driver
up to 2 kHz, at listening place 3,5 m i listen NO need of a tweeter and also no need of a notch,
i this case listening is more than a measurement.
Phase plug is over estimated, if it works much better i will make by speaker production.

Hi Horst,

You get good low output to under 40Hz. Very nice for 6.5" drivers. As you note. the impedance is very flat, from about 4 to 6 ohms. What is the purpose of the crossover? Is it to block bass on the front full range driver?
Thanks for sharing.
