I have multiple pairs of the old Radio Shack 40-1310 Super Tweeter that I would like to replace the basic Crossover circuit.
Presently there is 2.7uF Capacitor & 0.3mH Coil. I Notice a DIY Project here that only suggests capacitors with 0.47 + 0.22 uF of capacitance in parallel. Can i do this and through away the inductor ? I have very limited knowledge about electronic components. Any help on suggest capacitors size's and inductor would be really appreciated.

Cool !
thanks.

Hi Enu, welcome to the forum. I am using a simple first order crossover at about 10kHz. The factor XO is 2nd order at 5kHz. How will you be using the tweeters

Cheers
