Just got these used.
The only way I can hear any sound out of them is when I place them right up to my ear.
(I'm not that deaf ... yet)

And even then volume is slight.

What would this indicate?
cross over? etc...

I connected them up with my main speaker(s) cables on a 2 channel system. Thanks.

Please measure their resistance and report back. There is an internal crossover, if I am looking at the correct item - and it may be blown.

You should get ~8 ohms of resistance, and get a distinct "CLICK" from the speaker when you apply the VOM leads. If not, start with the crossover and then the voice-coil of the speaker itself.

Good luck with them. First rule of speakers is DO NOT purchase them without hearing them first. Too much to go wrong too easily.
