Just took delivery of the pre-cut panels for the mini--line array I'm building. Will post more pics as build progresses.

Unfortunately not at this time, having to arrange to borrow some sash and angle clamps so I can glue up the boxes which is taking more time than expected.

where did you purchase pre-cut panels? I don't have the wood working tools to make cabinets, and am looking to make some speakers, I'm assuming the pre-cuts are per your design specifications correct?

I knew someone that was able to draw up the cabinets to my calculated specifications using CAD. I then had the drawings printed out and took them along to a local supplier. They supplied the 25mm MDF and CNC routed the panels according to the drawings.

I have just finished construction of the first cabinet today. See pics attached. Will be doing the other to match tomorrow. Haven't attached the back panels yet, as the drivers have to be wired in and then the damping material etc.

I'm using 4 x Visaton FR 10 HM, 4", 8 Ohm full range speakers. 95Hz-22KHz. With the four drivers in an in-line array and the size of the boxes, 85L internal dimensions, resonance frequency is calculated at 32Hz.

I'm not sure whether I am going to require a baffle compensation circuit or not. The whole theory behind the in-line array, is that the more drivers you place in the array, the lower the resonant frequency.

http://www.soundlabsgroup.com.au/p/V-48 ... HM+-+8+Ohm

Gives 80W/channel rated and 120W/channel max power handling capabilities.

Very slow going unfortunately. Adding the bracing this weekend. Will be painting and adding the wiring, connectors and polyfill next weekend. Drivers will be wired in a series/parallel configuration to maintain the nominal 8 ohms.

Hopefully, I will then be purchasing the grills and isolation feet the following weekend.
