I won't pretend to understand everything Mr. Gravesen did, but can we discuss that CLIO chart? From Fostex' data, I thought "we have a pretty good mid-range here". Concerning the CLIO chart, I wouldn't have expected the frequency response to fall off a cliff at 16 kHz, but I would have expected a peak at around 6 kHz or a little lower after mounting in an enclosure. Is the CLIO data measured with the speaker in free air?

That's not really a big concern, there is not really any music content that high and your ears probably can't here much up there anyway.

It is common to measure response on an IEC baffle, not sure what was done in this case.

How are things going with the BRs for your 126s? I'm interested because I have used that speaker in a much larger cabinet with very good results and I often wonder how the smaller BR would sound. all the best ....Pete
